Sisu Sauna grew from a love of hot rooms, cold water, old rituals and the kind of places that feel a little bit magic.

We built our sauna garden behind the old farmhouse in Winthrop. Sisu started simply with a little sauna and a belief that feeling good doesn’t have to be complicated. Over time, a few old clawfoot tubs, string lights and a slightly wild garden became part of the ritual..

We love sauna for the way it brings you back to yourself.

There’s nothing fancy about what we do and we like it that way. Sisu is a place to come as you are, slow down for an hour and leave feeling a little more alive.

Text that says 'Hey There' in a handwritten-style font on a black background.
A silhouette of a man in a tuxedo and a woman in a formal dress dancing together on a stage with dark curtains in the background.
Three people sitting in vintage bathtubs outdoors in snow at night, enjoying a winter bath under string lights with snow-covered trees in the background.

The word 'Sisu' comes from Finnish culture and speaks to a kind of determination, resilience, and inner strength—qualities we embody in our everyday lives.
